Notes for the scent
Top: Citrus, Cassis, blackcurrant
Mid: Bulgarian Rose, Gerenium, Tobacco
Base: Patchouli, Sandalwood, Musk
Editors notes: An interesting collection of notes which I did not pick up on, but I can see where some of the aspects of the scent get their characteristics from. Tobacco I definitely do not pick up and same for the blackcurrant, or even patchouli - perhaps their concentrations are on the lighter side and crafty blended.
Overall, I really enjoyed this scent and can recommend this for a modern woman for day time or evening wear. It can also work on a man for evening wear only.
BLANC ONE
This scent was all about gentleness and relaxation upon first application to the skin. There is a burst of some sweet citrus and mostly white floral's. It is not overly thick or heavy scent but there is nice weight to me that sits closer to airy. The progression is minimal to the heart of the scent and dominated with neroli and perhaps lightly laced vetiver hiding in the background. I do not pick up on other notes and after trying this scent many times, I keep going back to the neroli as the face of this scent. One of the reasons I am able to pick up on neroli, or what seems to be a neroli based scent is because over the summer I've done a lot of testing with several neroli dominant fragrances and have grown acute to its character and smell.
One of the first things that I thought about when I was testing this scent is that how perfect it would be for a wedding day. Its simplistic beauty and gentle aroma would compliment the day perfectly. It does not get cloying, boring, or even annoying for me at any stage of the scent. The dry down on my skin gets sweeter and the afterthought of neroli lingers well. Sillage on this scent is moderate to sheer, but well noticeable when in close proximity. I would also categorize this scent as ideal for late spring and summer days, as well as work wear for its unoffensive but pleasing signature aroma.
Notes for the scent
Top: Bergamont, Freesia, Ginger flower
Mid: Jasmine Sambac, Peach
Base: White Musk
Editors notes: I am surprised by the absence of neroli being listed but regardless, if I didn't know the notes I would still believe this scent had it. I do not pick up on any peach, maybe because it is nicely hiding in the background as the supporting cast.
